This one’s a little weird for me, as I grew up near this one, and it was somewhat of an adult mystery to me as a child. So when I finally made it to this dive as an adult, it was somewhat of a let-down, while somewhat amazing. The interior is covered from floor to ceiling (including the ceiling) with outdated posters and cards. Everything from holographic wolves howling at the moon, to the Matrix 2 posters tacked up. But a pitcher of Mic Light was over $9.00… which blew my mind. Over the couple hours my friends and I spent here, we witnessed one domestic dispute, one truly stumbling drunk old man, and one person coming up to us to say, “Yer not from ’round ‘ere, are ya?” (We actually grew up less than a mile away). Major props on the creepy dive experience, but the prices alone are enough to keep me from coming back.

Sorry, not for me. I did this place once, and met so many interesting people that I am fine never meeting again. I’ll spend too much money on a pitcher elsewhere…
