I do not like this bar. Bad bartenders and bad atmosphere. A waste of time and space.

I hate to rate this four stars down the board, but I have to. This place has the potential to be a regular dive hangout. I was not overwhelmed on my visit, however. The cheap beer was cheap (as it should be) and the crowd was cool (as it should be). The bathrooms were punk-rock, and the graffiti distracted me from the weird liquid on the floor. I dug the pool tables and booths, and have to hit this place up again to see if it can meet its potential…

could this be the king of baltimore dives? my visit points to yes. the big room is teeming with beer memorabilia and chotchkies, and upbeat vibe. grab some beers, get cozy in a booth and let the taps and good times flow.

This is an amazing dive. The staff were great, the beer on special was tasty and inexpensive (National Bohemian Beer), and the crowd was young and jovial. There was a comedy club going on in the other room, so we didn’t know what was over on that side at first. When we returned later that night, the bouncer and bartender welcomed us back, which was nice that they remembered us. The comedy club had ended and the other room was now open to the public, and that’s where this bar became so much more amazing. A HUGE room, filled with tables and booths, a great jukebox, another full bar, and a couple of pool tables was presented to us. Even though it was nearing closing time, the crowd was happy and laughing, which made for a great atmosphere. I will definitely come back here again next time I’m in Baltimore.
