Not so much a dive bar, as a hip restaurant with a beautiful bar running from end to end of the room. The crowd was the same as the dives nearby, and when when asking locals for dive suggestions, was grouped in with Frazier’s on the Avenue, Rocket to Venus and the Hon Bar. The food was very tasty, and the decor was very creatively assembled. Patron bottles were used as light fixtures, and the art on the walls was very nicely displayed.

some thought was put into the gorgeous plywood bar, art hangings, and lighting schemes. definitely a great place to go and grab a dos equis and eat fantastic salsa.

Not so much a dive bar, but I have to say that they have the best salsa I have ever had. Go for the burritos and stay for some drinks! The bartender kicked ass, and the crowd was decent. Too bright for a dive til they dimmed the lights around 11:00…
