The interior of this place is incredibly sci-fi cool. Not necessarily a dive by typical definition, but very close. Impressive styling include oval windows, large wrap-around booths, retro ceiling tiles as well as a jukebox that looks like steam-punk art. The crowd consisted of a lot of black clothing and skinny jeans, but I never felt put out for not wearing the same. I didn’t order food, but the pitcher of their cheapest beer (Yeungling) was pretty expensive compared to the other bars he had visited that night. Overall, I’d definitely go back again.

the decor was prime, the e-jukebox jammin, and the drinks were flowing. the only thing i really took note of was that for a saturday night it wasn’t too hoppin.

This place is great. Prices are a little high, but the crowd is awesome. If you want a break from the typical dive bar and want to spend some time in another world, take a Rocket to Venus. I will definitely be back; I just hope I can find the men’s room again… (a little confusing, to the right of the bar, while women’s room is on the left)
